My Palio cutter seems sort of "sticky." It doesn't slide as smoothly as it used to, and I'm getting some cracked heads when I cut. Is there a way I can take it apart to clean and lube the slides? Mine is the original composite gray, if that is a factor. Thanks!

I wouldnt take it apart. Just soak in some warm water with a little dish soap.

I clean the blades with rubbing alcohol and then the "rails" I just rub with my fingers several times, the oils from the skin seem to work for lube.

Ok thanks guys. It seems like oils and 'dust' from cutting cigars has crudded up the slides. I'll clean them with soap and alcohol.

Why does this sound so dirty?
