Anyone have one of these? I'm thinking about getting one and was wondering what others thought. Can't tell if it's 100% novelty or might actually work for field use.

are you at Fort Drum? I was with 3BCT from 08' to 10'.

Looks like a gimmick and a novelty. I carried my cigars in an extra ammo pouch on my IOTV. Never had a problem.

Yeah. I'm at Drum (1BCT), got here Jan09 going to Lewis in July, I can not wait. I guess I'll just get a hard traveldor to keep in my ruck/assault pack. That thing definitely max's out style points though.

That thing is bad ass! Not sure how well the tubes would be able to keep in humidity, and keep out dirt, sand, etc. though.

agreed. it is quite stylish. with all of the stuff attached to an IOTV, I don't like adding things...maybe you can remove the IFAK (or is it IFAC?)
