No mo' Mo. Sad day for me, and baseball.

(And I would hate the Phillies and the Mets, if I actually gave a damn about either one of them. :-) )

Fox Sports has a good special Being: Mariano Rivera .. it's on now, it's worth catching if you haven't seen it, I'm sure it's online. It's a 'season in the life' of type of show, following him around for his last season. Very well done, might not like him professionally but have always respected him.

He was only pitching for 2 weeks in Panama (he was a SS) when the Yankees' scout came back to see him, he had a 9 pitch workout for the Yankees they went back to his house and signed him. Some things are just meant to be.

Just finished watching Being: Mariano...what a great show. Cannot stand the Yankees, but damn if that didn't bring a tear to my eye. Always respected Mo and Jeter. :-) :-)

Really showed a great side of Mariano, meeting different people in every city, whether workers at stadiums or just random people was a really great thing, loved the lunch in Boston with Papi as well (duh lol).

I'm a Sox fan but Mariano was, and is, a class act! I will never forget Opening Day in '05 and how he tipped his cap to the Fenway crowd. Classy!
