This image is from the Salmon River in Idaho, between Riggins Idaho and French Creek, taken on Feb 8, 2010. The circle was turning clockwise in the eddy. The "hook" on the left broke the next day, and the circle floated downstream and broke up. The circle was roughly 100 feet in diameter. Pretty neat.
