Drums keep pounding a rhythm to the brain . . . no, wait, that ain't right. I got distracted. Lemme start again.
On January 15, 1926 the Clemson Tigers crossed the border and visited the UNC Tar Heels to play a basketball game in Chapel Hill for the first time. They lost that game by a 50-20 score.
Today, January 26, 2014 the Tigers again came to Chapel Hill for another game, and lost to the Heels 80-61, though with a second-half lead which reached 31 the game was really not even as close as the final would indicate. With this victory, UNC has improved its home record against Clemson to 57-0.
That's right. In 57 tries over what is approaching a century, Clemson has never won a basketball game in Chapel Hill. Let's see you beat THAT streak!
