The fine British actor, whose career spanned 7 decades, and who famously played villains from Frankenstein's Monster and Dracula through Francisco Scaramanga of Golden Gun fame to wizard Saruman and Count Dooku, has passed away from respiratory problems and heart failure at age 93.
Rest in peace, Sir Lee.

Definitely one of a kind. Spy during WWII. Iconic actor. Recorded friggin' heavy metal albums into his 90s. On the set of LOTR, he told Peter Jackson how a knife being shoved into someone's back should properly sound...from personal experience stabbing Nazis. The world lost a true character. RIP.

May he rest in peace, he has played some classic villains and some mean rock n roll! May God bless and keep him.

The Hammer films are past trademark, so they're easy to watch on line.
