Just found out that one of the ladies who did the clerical work here in our office passed away last night. She didn't show up for work this morning, and we were wondering where she was. It wasn't like her to be late. Her son just came in a little bit ago and said she had a heart attack last night and died at the hospital. She was 56, and I knew she was having some tests done at the doctor, but if there were underlying problems she kept them to herself.
It's so weird that someone can be here yesterday, and gone today.

Prayers sent to her family. This is another example that we must live our lives to the fullest each and every day, because we don't know when it going to be our time. Make sure you tell your friends and family how much they are loved.

We started a memorial fund for our friend who died earlier this week. We know that she was helping to support her mother, and that the family is figuring out how to best care for her.
The CEO and CFO of our company just came down to our department and wrote personal checks for $5000 each to the fund. That, my friends, is pretty damn nice.
