For those old timers that are familiar with it. It also contained Ramon y Ramon cigars as well.
Any idea how to value a full one?
It contains...

(20) Ramon y Ramon Familia ~ 6 1/4 x 47
(20) Ramon y Ramon Nino ~ 5 1/2 x 50
(20) Ramon y Ramon Legado ~ 5 3/8 x 44
(20) Ramon y Ramon Padrino ~ 7 1/2 x 49
(10) Partagas 150 A ~ 6 3/4 x 43
(10) Partagas 150 B ~ 6 1/2 x 47
(10) Partagas 150 C ~ 5 1/2 x 49
(10) Partagas 150 Robusto ~ 4 1/2 x 49
(05) Partagas 150 AA ~ 7 1/2 x 49

cKay is correct on the price quote... I bought (and still have) a full chest of these (RyR P-150s) which are now 10 years old: Should be REAL smooth about now!
Paid $1,700 for a full chest in 2007, but times have been hard on the price of these over the past 3 years....Last chest I saw sold was at a charity auction in 2008, and it went for about $1,450 to a winery owner. (Original release price was $2,200 back in 2000.)
I would probably buy another chest to add to my aging collection if the price/trade was right, and they had been well kept.
I really should find a few loose sticks to smoke as I'd like to try them out myself, without breaking into the chest I have...want to keep that one whole for another 10 years
Ciao,
Walter
PS - Drop me a line if you want to get rid of that chest...maybe we can work out something we'll both like :-)

I would be Very Very interested in a partial chest. Those 150's are hard enough to come by but the Ramon y Ramon are near impossible. I have one and pick it up from time to time but still yet to smoke it.
Not sure if you're looking to sell Dave but if you are please keep me in mind as well as wchurst.
Thanks.

Didn't have the chest, but picked up a few singles here and there back in the day. They were very tasty cigars. I still have the numbered cloth band that came around the cigars from one box.

I've never even heard of RyR! are the partagas pretty typical NC partagas?

Back in the day, those 150s were one of my FAVORITE cigars, especially the Robusto and a PC, I think.

Weren't these around $900 when they came out? I remember the whole 150th hoopla at the time.
I thought their Limited Reserves were much better at a similar price point (back then).
The 150th Humidor is sure impressive looking though. Has anyone smoked a 150th recently?

Yes my buddy smoked the 150 B and I smoked the 150 A. They still have great flavor in my opinion. One of my favorite Partagas ever released.
