Will have to do some more reading on it...at least unlike the BB Storm it has wi-fi.
The killer for me is that it runs on Windows Mobile.... I just don't think that can touch the iPhone OS.
Will read more this afternoon about it.

OK,
You are officially forgiven for this late thread post my purchase last night.
That would put me out of the market for it.
I am now consoled.

I'm with you Jim...I can't stand Windows Mobile, let alone Windows. I consider myself a business man and the Iphone does everything I need it to

Indeed it isn't... and I just have not found a way to justify the price.
A quick comparison of the two:
-Both 3G and Wifi Capable
-X1 less internal storage but can add SD card
-X1 has physical keyboard, a nice addition for some people
-Both push email
-3.2 MP Camera on X1 versus 2.0 MP on iPhone
You say you like windows mobile better... having a windows mobile phone and an ipod touch currently I can't imagine how you arrived at this conclusion....but I guess it is about personal preference
What I dislike after reading around a bit is that the XI requires the use of stylus to work properly for certain functions. I have bigger fingers and HATE using a stylus so this is a killer for me If I'm paying $900 for a phone, I don't want to use a stylus that will get lost in the first 2 days anyway.... no stylus or tiny ass buttons on the iphone
It says it has GPS, but only for an extra cost. The "quick GPS" it comes with is not true gps, but it does have google maps which is nice.
I saw that the wifi can sometimes be tricky to get to work (typical of windows and not so much the phone itself) I have an app that prompts me when I am in a new wifi network and all I have to do is click to join (if there is no password)
If using the phone for music as well, I can't imagine it comes near the iphone which is basically an ipod that can be synced with your itunes.
Also, since I use a iMac as my computer.... with my mobileme account it syncs my contacts, pictures, files, calendar automatically without me ever having to so much as hit a button....just have to turn my computer on.
I'm all about having a functional, user-friendly, fun device. With all the capabilities of the app store I don't see the X1 competing very much. It seems to me to have less ability @ four times the price.
