Since I'm snowed in I figured I'd crack open an old tin I had saved for a snowy day. A late 70s tin of Mac Baren Club Blend.
The tin note was faint smokiness with a hint of fig and raisin and a very fleeting Aroma of fruit.
The tobacco appearance is very dark with some light sugaring in the center of a few of the coins.
First light impressions are of a mild body mild strength aged cigarette tobacco.
I think I'm going to need to smoke this a few more times before I can conclusively say what I think of this blend. I've put it in a jar and slightly rehydrated it. I'll give it a few weeks and put it up against a review of two other tins I have of the same blend a 92 and a 2013 version. Until then enjoy a few pics.
