Omelets for breakfast.
Dinner is still coming together. For sure there's going to be sauteed kale with goat cheese, fresh pears, and pecans. I'll probably also grill up some fish and fresh corn on the cob, but I need to see what's available at the grocery. Sea scallops are a possibility, too

I was going to smoke a brisket for my mom today (it's one of her favorites and I smoke a pretty good brisket
:-)) but I dropped by the grocery stores yesterday and none of them had one. single. brisket. I was pretty astounded. Anyway, told her I owed her one smoked brisket and she was fine with that, they were busy showing their house today anyway

I did the normal mother's day breakfast.(waffles,eggs, bacon, ham,pancakes)
Me and the kids made her gift this year. We made a flag with the kids hands. I cut the wood, and the kids painted it. We did it with finger paints but I sprayed it with clear spray paint to seal it. She collects flags so I figured she would like it. I think its cool.
