We spent the weekend in San Antonio with some old friends we were stationed in Germany with back in the '00's. It was three days of good food, drink, and cigars.

A German Cherry Cordial and dessert wine I'd been holding on to since around 2009. I was surprised the wine was still good.

A couple of the Bourbons. It was the first time I'd had any Bib & Tucker; I really enjoyed it. There were some Scotches, too, but I don't know what happened to them.

Drinkin thru a Founders All Day IPA variety pack. The All Night IPA was an excellent Black IPA. The others are good as well. I'll try to get a pic of my Four Roses Small batch but my photo software sucks .

I used to bartend and I love muddling some fresh jalapenos and tossing them in the shaker and then mixing the marg with the peppers. Makes such a good margarita!

Got turned on to a new rum on a little sojourn to Puerto Rico last week: Dos Mederas 5 + 5. Supposedly aged five years in the Caribbean then finished for another five back in Spain. It was silky smooth with the right amount sweetness for me, and no burn. Easy sipping all day long.
