A few weeks ago I met Spc 4 Slayton (Ranger)in the St Louis airport. He and I had a very long conversation and this young man impressed me so much. He gave me his FOB as Cobra in Iraq and an AE number so I could send him some “goodies”. Our family decided instead of exchanging gifts this year we would get together and send this young man a care package. We have collected 5 boxes of candy, snacks, personal hygiene products and such. I went to mail them and was told the AE number is incorrect. Can anyone help me with a valid address so we can send these young men a small token of our appreciation? I have gone through the Army and was told they would try and locate him for me but I have heard nothing back as yet. I promised Specialist Slayton I would send him some things from time to time. Please help me keep my promise.
