Sounds tasty and easy to make :-)

Do you recomend light or dark beer for this recipe? :-)

I used Coors Light. I don't think it matters what type of beer you use, but using a dark beer for this recipe sounds tasty.

Some friends and I are trying this soon. Has anyone tried any other beer besides a light one?

I have made it several times and have always used a lighter (but not light) beer like budweiser. IMHO i think dark beer would take away from the sweet taste or at least cover up the sweet taste.

I normally enjoy beer bread with a nice bowl of home made chili with tabasco sauce :-)
