There's a store on the other side of town from me that carries these gifts from the pancake gods. I'll pick up a can or two and report back later.

my MIL brought a can of this stuff over a few Sundays ago. Im a HUGE pancake fan (buttermilk of course), and I can honestly say this stuff is crap. The result was flat, tangy (not in a good way) pancakes, that I would be embarrassed to serve to a guest.

Unless Im making my own batter from scratch (Alton Brown has a great reciepe) then my preference is Aunt Jamima's Buttermilk Complete

Just combine water and the mix and your good to go!

I tried this stuff when it first came out and thought they came out fine. It took a little bit of practice though because I didn't get the same size and consistency as I usually do. The end result after trial and error though was a good pancake.
