There are a number of restaurants that allow cigar smoking, or you can always stop in at any of the Havana Connections locations. They all have smoking lounges and very friendly staff.

Where will you be staying & for how long?

Bailey's pub has two locations. Hondo's is good.

The cigar shops recommended above are nice, as is Old Virginia Tobacco in Carytown.

Thanks for the suggestions, it's always nice to leave NY and enjoy a smoke and a drink in the same place. Staying at the Marriott on Broad Street for a night.

You'll be right down the street from Havana 59. Would definitely be my choice:

I like to frequent the Buffalo Wild Wings on W Broad. Great place to watch a ballgame and enjoy a cigar. I'm not sure how VA's new smoking ban will impact them, however.

I know they've already been mentioned but I'll throw my votes to these two places as well:

Havana 59
Uncle Mikey's

Visited Uncle Mikey's once. BIG humidor. Then, when I was listening to my podcasts on the way home, he was interviewed on "Dogwatch Cigar Radio." I felt like I had met a celebrity!

B21, here's a nice little web page to use prior to visiting a city:

If you plug-in Richmond, VA you will see a number of places pop-up. Some which have already been mentioned.

Have fun in Richmond...:-)
