I got to drive back to NC today, currently in Memphis, and the best way for me is I-40. Problem is that ton of rocks blocking the path. Anyone know a quick way around this without having to go I-81/26? I'm looking for some back road that'll take me around it basically. Thanks!

I'm not sure exactly where the blockage is, but maybe you could look at getting off 40 at Newport, TN and taking 25 to 107. However, those are pretty small hwys from the look of it and it they have many others doing the same route it may take longer.

Try a look at this recommended detour...

Probably not the route you want, by your description. Best I got!

Looks like half the mountain came down. But look on the bright side - at least you won't have to drive through that stench in Canton.

Where else can you get cigar reviews, fellowship AND real time navigation?

Thanks guys! I ended up taking 25/70 back into Asheville. It didn't cut off time cause of some much sloooower drivers, but it was fun going the back ways. I'd rather do that than the interstate!
