Any of you guys ever receive any cigars via UPS Surepost? I ordered some sticks from Cigar Monster and they've been shipped Surepost. This is new to me. Any comments? Thanks.

I have, basically it means it will take an extra day because they give it to the PO and they deliver it the following day

Though it is true that there is often a day or two delay with this hybrid UPS/USPS method, it does have the advantage that your postman need not get your signature. If you are not home, or if you are not friends with your UPS driver (like me, who knows he'll find me if necessary), you will still get your package.

I agree with Thomas, I am a fan. I can wait one extra day, I have a couple cigars to smoke in the meantime.

Out in the sticks where I live the UPS man always leaves it on the porch.

I can't remember the last time UPS or FedEx has asked for a signature...

They've never asked me for one for cigars. The last time I was asked to sign was a while back when I was in a wine-of-the-month club.
