I am in the process of planning Thanksgiving dinner for our family. I’d like to set up a “cigar tasting” of sorts for the evening (cigars that will pair well with an aged Port I have been cellaring). My plan is that this will take place following dinner and dessert. While the women are planning the “Black Friday” shopping spree, the rest of us can escape and enjoy some interesting cigars. I am seeking suggestions for about six different, moderately-priced cigars. Ideally I will have 2 or 3 of each and then each family member can select one to enjoy. Ideas please?

Big question first is, How often does everyone else smoke cigars? frequently or infrequently? If they fall into the infrequently category you are probably looking at a lot milder cigars as opposed to guests that smoke cigars frequently and might be looking to enjoy a LFD DL maduro after a big meal.
Moderately priced ... assuming $6-$8 a piece?
Those two pieces we probably help shape recommendations more for your group.
