I applaud the rigors he put the Segway through in testing. The production model will really be rugged.

RIP... He only owned Segway for a short time (I think he owned the company less than a year). I do have a Segway and they are really easy (and fun) to ride. I use my when I golf :-)

Correct. The inventor sold it to him. The inventor is from Manchester, NH, well the plant is, he actually lives in Bedford NH. Amazing guy I've heard, never met him but know people that have been to his house and I guess it's like an inventor's museum up there!!!!
