I'd move to where the bikini babes are playing volleyball.
:-)
Still, it beats MY view of a parking lot.

Not too bad! Light up a cigar, enjoy the beach, then get there early tomorrow for a front row view
:-)

Well in Myrtle Beach the lifeguards rent out the front row. Mortal man sets up behind. I am frugal and refuse to pay 30+tip for a few hours of shade when I brought my own.

Ah, thought you had just rented late. I know at Daytona beach when we were there we rented late and got second row...but the next day we rented early and got first.
When we were down at Padre and brought our own umbrella we just setup a little ways to the right of the condos and had the area to ourselves (they only setup rented stuff right in front of the condos).

Don't hate. If it makes you feel anu better I am not a huge fan of the beach. This is my wife and daughters trip. I do enjoy getting away though. Dunes Village is super nice but a no smoking deal. Have to smoke on the beach. I kinda miss smoking at night on the balcony.

I'm down the road - hot as hell ain't it. At least there's an ocean breeze.
Enjoy!
BTW, I always thought selling shade was a joke. Living on the coast the vast majority of my life, I have never heard of paying for the ocean view at the beach. That's bullchit!!

Rent a spot at the beach? That's absurd. Glad there are no antics like that around here.

was my view last week. Just a few minutes north of Daytona. It was a private beach, but there were plenty of public parking and entrance areas to the north and south, between Ormond-by-the-Sea and Flagler Beach.
We rarely saw more than 4-5 people virtually as far as we could see, several miles up and down the beach.

That was my view when I honeymooned in the bahamas. We saw maybe 6 people all week.

That looks boring, Scott.

I'm not a huge fan of the people but without them it could get boring. I would like to give a private beach a try for a day though.
