First off this is a new experience for me, inwhich I have never had any Chisel. The foot smell is of sweet tabacco and straw. The cigar is very well built. No major viens, sun spots, or soft spots.
I was told to punch the top (or bottom) of the "chisel". I used my smaller punch at first to see how it would draw, if not enough, I would enlarger it with my larger punch. Once I got the "plug' out of the chisel, the darw seamed ok, not loose at all and possibly a little tight.

Prelight Draw I couldn't put my finger on the flavor, simliar to what I smelled on the foot at first.

First Third I torched it with a jet lighter and lit fairly fast and easily with a fair amount of smoke. First draw seemed very woody. The punch in the chisel directs the smoke directly towards your tongue so you have lots of chance to savor the flavors. A little way into it, I realized the small punch hole was too small and enlarged it with the larger punch. This helped out the smoke and draw a good bit. A small amount of spice working its way into the senses. The spice is a somewhat creamy type spice . very nice for someone who doesn't like a lot of spice (me). Very nice, little stronger spice on the retrohale but still pleasant. Right about now, I am really diggn' this cigar! Finishing off the first third the spice slacs off but still prevalant on the retrohale. The earthy/straw is comming into play working into the second third.

Second Third Strong hay, earthy type flavors comming about. Now the weather is starting to look rough and thunder and lightning popping all around. Starting to cool off, but humidity is on the rise drastically. Here comes the rain! Its raining like a cow pissn' on a flat rock!
The humidity is taking a drastic turn on the cigar, the burn is all oout of wack and having to retouch it alot! Im sure the touch-ups aren't helping the flavors... The hay, earthiness stayed throught the second third and so did the rain. I sat it down to check on my ribs on the smoker and came back to find it out and getting kind of soggy.....

Last Third Wet stray with undernotes of chocolate. Nice spice working its way back into the mix at 2" to go. Now Bitter Cocoa is lurching its way in and is a decent flavor. It started to remind me a littl more of the "original" 'Benders towards the end. Its been a few months since ive had one but reminds me of them. The hay, earth has stayed till about an inch left and with numerous touch-ups, purges the weather has taken its toll on the cigar and me.

I need to try the one again when the weather is more favorable to me and the cigar. The high humidity and rain played a part in the burn and flavors I think....

As of now, I'd give it a 87-90 range. It could have been better, the 2nd third was pretty uneventful but the weather was then too...
Will deffinately try again when the weather is more to my likings.

But the ribs were great!!!!

Great review...I have had the regular Air Bender and didn't care for it at all. To date, has been the only LFD stick I have not enjoyed.

One other question... I have been doing some research on this bender and most sites are saying Wrapper: Ecuador Filler and binder: DR. I hope it is an Ecuadorian in and out. Thoughts?

If I am not mistaken, the infor I posted up was from LFD's website.....
So its looks all to be Ecuadorian throughout.
